Reduced Ion

NiKlad ECO MP

NiKlad ECO MP

NiKlad ECO MP is a lead- and cadmium-free, very bright, medium phosphorous alloy system representing an advanced generation of electroless nickel development incorporating innovative new “additive” chemistry into a low metal formulation.

Operational advantage

Operating the NiKlad ECO MP at lower nickel and sodium hypophosphite concentrations provides valuable advantages when make-up and drag out losses otherwise increase costs. More importantly, the system can be applied by existing EN process equipment.

Deposit properties

NiKlad ECO MP deposits provide more consistent color, high brightness appearance, and good deposit smoothness over the solution life span. The process is also more sustainable than conventional systems as nickel air emissions, nickel in wastewater, and spent solution, are reduced by up to 50%.

Sustainability

We are committed to developing sustainable processes for the surface finishing industry. Our low metal electroless nickel portfolio, including NiKlad ECO MP, delivers significant nickel reduction in post-plate rinses, reducing air emissions from the plating solution, and improving safety and efficiency while reducing waste. The process meets ELV Directive 2000/53/EC Annex II, WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC, and RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.
