Surface conditioning
Prior to the plating process, a surface must be cleaned to offer a perfectly pure substrate to receive a metallic finish with good adhesion. Dirt and oxides must be removed in appropriate conditions. Our extensive surface preparation experience enables us to provide our customers with a synthetic approach and a complete line of cleaners.
Descalers
Descalers are designed to derust and descale ferrous metal parts without attacking the base material. They are primarily used as anodic electro-cleaners to effectively remove heavy weld or heat treat scale. Descalers are safe to use on steel parts susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement.
