ANKOR 1111

ANKOR 1111 is a low-temperature hard chrome process that yields a crack-free chrome deposit, providing excellent corrosion resistance at 5 to 10 µm thicknesses.

Deposit hardness

The hardness of the as-plated deposit ranges from 700-750 HV, with a matte grey post-plating appearance.

Cost effectiveness

ANKOR 1111 plates at working temperatures below 30°C to improve plating efficiencies by more than 30% and minimize hydrogen embrittlement in both the chrome layer and substrate.

Compliance

The ANKOR 1111 process is specified by several OEMs and tier 1 suppliers and meets the requirements of up to 96h ISO 9227 NSS testing.
