Phosphating

KeyKote 501

KeyKote 501

KeyKote 501 is a nickel-free, liquid concentrate calcium modified immersion process that produces an ultra-fine grain zinc phosphate coating applied under paint or oil for rustproofing. It is ideally suited for bonding rubber and plastics to metal. The deposit delivers excellent surface treatment under organic coatings and serves as a lubricant carrier.

Applications

KeyKote 501 can be used for light break-in of mating surfaces, wire and tube drawing, and can be applied to the internal parts of plated components.

Operational efficiency

Designed for use in immersion systems, KeyKote 501 reduces sludge formation and offers extended solution life.

Sustainability

KeyKote 501 provides a nickel-free operation, resulting in a safer work environment and simplified waste treatment.
