Phosphating

KeyKote 750

KeyKote 750

KeyKote 750 is a liquid concentrate zinc phosphate that produces very heavy, extremely fine-grained, high-quality phosphate coatings without requiring break-in additions of iron.  Lower coating weights of 6.5 - 16 g/m² can be produced with the addition of KeyKote 303 accelerator/iron control agent.

Applications

Keykote 750 is suitable for pre-paint applications. When infused with a cold-forming lubricant, it significantly extends die life protecting the workpiece during cold forging and extrusion operations.

Operational efficiency

KeyKote 750 is an easy-to-use two-component system that requires no supplementary accelerators or additives. The bath is easily controlled through simple analysis and offers reducing maintenance downtime.

Sustainability

KeyKote 750 provides a nickel-free operation resulting in a safer work environment and simplified waste treatment
