KeyKote 731 ZG

KeyKote 731 ZG produces a crystalline manganese phosphate layer with a uniform coating weight of 8-25g/m2 and of thicknesses of 3 – 8 µm, ideal for oil and lubricant retention. Providing exceptional anti-galling and good sliding properties, KeyKote 731 ZG is ideally suited for applications on moving and wearing steel surfaces. 

Versatility

KeyKote 731 ZG can be used as either a supporting layer until the two wearing surfaces can form a matched mating surface, or as a porous base for liquid lubricants and/or corrosion inhibiting oils 

 

Operational efficiency

Provided as a one component system for make-up and replenishment, KeyKote 731 ZG reduces sludge build-up and simplifies sludge removal when compared to competitive products

KeyKote 731 ZG provides a nickel-free operation resulting in a safer work environment and simplified waste treatment

KeyKote 731 ZG can be paired with a suitable KeyKote conditioner in the pre-treatment sequence to obtain fine grain manganese phosphate coatings for applications requiring lower roughness.
